Margaret Fang was awarded a 5 year K24 Midcareer Investigator Award from the NIH/National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute for $609,000, “Use and outcomes of anticoagulants for the treatment and prevention of thrombosis among hospitalized patients.” This grant will support her efforts to mentor early career researchers, as well as fund her research studying contemporary trends in the use and outcomes of anticoagulants in hospital settings.
