Roland Wu, MD

Volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor

I am a cardiologist and physician-scientist with board certifications in general cardiology and echocardiography. My clinical interest is in inpatient cardiology where I continue to practice.

Since 2020, my primary appointment has been with Amgen where I focus on leveraging human genetics and basic scientific insights to create clinically meaningful advances in cardiovascular medicine. My research focuses on understanding human cardiovascular disease by studying the genetics and gene regulation underlying these disorders, utilizing technologies such as in vivo genetic and enhancer screens coupled with computational biology.
