Catherine DeVoe, MD
Assistant Professor
Dr. Catherine DeVoe cares for patients with infectious diseases, with a special interest in patients who are immunocompromised from organ transplantation or cancer treatment and in nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infections. She is the Infectious Diseases Lead for UCSF's Bronchiectasis and Nontuberculous Mycobacteria program.
DeVoe's research focuses on NTM infections, and on diagnosing and treating infections in immunocompromised patients. She is interested in medical education, and she teaches medical students, residents and fellows in both classroom and clinical settings.
DeVoe earned her medical degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed a residency in internal medicine at New York – Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and a fellowship in infectious diseases at UCSF.
In her free time, DeVoe enjoys running, hiking, and reading novels, and she avoids cooking whenever possible.
