Brieze Bell, MD

Assistant Clinical Professor

Medicine Home, Hospital Medicine UCSF Health

I am an internal medicine, palliative medicine, and integrative medicine physician with a passion for excellence in clinical care, medical education, and operational leadership at the intersection of these three fields. I believe in accompanying our patients on every stage of their health journeys as an empowering health advocate, teaching the next generation of medical professionals to do the same, and evolving our healthcare system to optimize healing potential for our patients and wellbeing for providers. I am originally from Chicago, but have lived all over the country in pursuit of professional and personal opportunities. I completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Arts at Wesleyan University in Connecticut and attended medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. From there, I completed my Internal Medicine residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, followed by fellowships in Palliative Medicine and Integrative Medicine at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco. I am now on faculty at UCSF where I am jointly appointed as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Divisions of Palliative Medicine and Hospital Medicine.
