Brent Kobashi, MD

HS Clinical Professor

Brent Kobashi, MD, is a Clinical Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at UCSF, currently working at the General Internal Medicine Practice at Sutter Street. He is particularly interested in chronic disease management, quality of life, preventive care, patient-centered medicine, LGBTQ+ health and healthy aging.

He is involved in medical education and has an interest in educational innovation. His teaching efforts include working with UCSF medical students as a coach and precepting trainees in internal medicine continuity clinic. He is the Co-Director of the Career Advising Program at the UCSF School of Medicine.

He is involved in quality and practice improvement.
