Assistant Clinical Professor
Dr. Allison Bond is an Infectious Disease and Hospital Medicine physician with academic interests in quality improvement, medical education, and the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases (ID) among patients being cared for by non-ID clinicians. She is the Director of Quality Improvement & Innovation in the Division of Infectious Diseases, where she helps faculty practice medicine in a way that is data-driven and meaningful to them, aligning faculty priorities and values, evidence-based practices, and patient-centered priorities.
Dr. Bond also directs UCSF Health Department of Medicine Grand Rounds, a weekly educational conference for faculty, trainees and the public featuring cutting-edge innovations at UCSF and beyond; Cases & Conundrums, a learning conference for Hospital Medicine faculty at UCSF Health; and the UCSF Department of Medicine Master Clinicians program, which honors faculty distinguished by their commitment to clinical medicine and their superb clinical skills. She attends on the Hospital Medicine and Infectious Disease inpatient services and also sees patients in HIV clinic at UCSF.
