Karen Hauer has been selected as president elect of the International Competency Based Medical Education Collaborative (ICBME). The ICBME Collaborators are a group of leading international experts engaged in conceptual issues and current debates in the field of competency-based medical education (CBME).CBME is an outcomes-based approach to the design, implementation, and evaluation of education programs and to the assessment of learners across the continuum.
