Lekshmi Santhosh, MD, MAEd, is an associate professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine at UCSF Health and the inaugural associate chair for people development and mentorship in the UCSF Department of Medicine. She is the chair-elect for the American Thoracic Society Section on Medical Education, the associate program director for the UCSF Internal Medicine Residency, and holds the UCSF Gold-Headed Cane Endowed Education Chair in Internal Medicine.
