Nadia Nassaj appointed division manager for Hematology and Oncology at UCSF Health
Nadia Mehrnoosh Nassaj has been selected to serve as the division manager for the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UCSF Health.
Nadia has served as interim division manager since December 1, 2025. Throughout this period, she brought a steady, thoughtful approach to leadership and quickly built strong partnerships across the division. She demonstrated care and commitment during this time of transition, and she will continue to do so in this role.
Nadia brings extensive experience in healthcare and clinical research management, with a strong foundation in finance, operations, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining UCSF, she served as associate director of research operations at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Samuel Oschin Cancer Center. She has also held leadership roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Across these roles, she has led teams and programs that improved operational performance, strengthened research infrastructure, and supported faculty and staff in advancing clinical and scientific missions.
Her work is grounded in a clear commitment to organizational excellence, collaboration, and supporting the people who make this division thrive. Nadia holds a master’s degree in clinical research management from Arizona State University, is certified in healthcare research compliance, and is a certified clinical research professional.
