Maribeth Ruperto named new division manager of ID

We are thrilled to announce that Maribeth Ruperto is the new manager of the Division of Infectious Disease at UCSF Health!

With over 15 years of experience, Maribeth brings extensive financial and administrative expertise to our division. Having worked in various roles at Stanford and UCSF, including her current positions as assistant division manager for the Division of Nephrology at UCSF Health and interim chief administrative officer for UCSF’s Institute for Human Genetics, Maribeth has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead with knowledge, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset. She has a deep understanding of UCSF’s mission and values, making her well-equipped to drive success and support our division.

Outside of work, Maribeth loves spending time with her family, cheering on the Faithful Niners and the Believing Warriors. She’s also a passionate plant enthusiast, proudly surrounded by more indoor plants than humans in her household.
