Katrina Hough serves as Team Leader at AmeriCorps NCCC Summer of Service
This past summer, one of our staff members Katrina Hough (Clinical Research Coordinator) participated in the AmeriCorps NCCC Summer of Service program as a team leader to help make an impact in the community through environmental conservation and youth education efforts. During her service, Katrina worked closely with Camp Mendocino in Fort Bragg, CA serving the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco. Katrina and her AmeriCorps team worked with campers on activities, built a waterfall, prepped meals for campers, chopped redwood trees, painted cabins, and cleared trails of brush with the goal of fire mitigation. What a great way to give back to the community! Go Katrina!
