HIV in 2025: What’s New, What’s Next?

Advances in HIV treatment have rapidly accelerated, with promising new trials and therapies emerging every year. In this Grand Rounds, one of our HIV experts, Annie Luetkemeyer, MD, will review current and emerging treatment and prevention tools and explore how these innovations are reshaping the landscape of HIV management. She will also discuss recent advances in the prevention of other sexually transmitted infections, another important strategy in HIV prevention.

Speaker:

Annie Luetkemeyer, MD, is a professor of medicine in the Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases, and Global Medicine at ZSFG.  She is the principal investigator for the UCSF AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) clinical research site and directs the San Francisco Infectious Diseases Research Center (SF IDRC). Her research focuses on interventions to treat and prevent viral and sexually transmitted infections, with an emphasis on underserved populations and people living with HIV.
