Victoria Tang Awarded NIA Supplement Award

Victoria Tang, MD, MAS was awarded a supplement award from the National Institute on Aging to further develop her landmark research on the needs and outcomes of vulnerable older patients undergoing surgery.  This award extends her work to patients with cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's Disease who have surgery.  This project seeks to better understand the psychosocial needs of patients and caregivers before and after surgery.  The knowledge gained from this study will guide interventions to improve quality of life of patients and caregivers
