Brie Williams Awarded Gift from the Vital Projects Fund
Brie Williams, MD, MS was awarded a gift from the Vital Projects Fund, Inc. for her program Amend at UCSF. Amend at UCSF is an evidence-based cultural change initiative that draws on Norway’s humanistic and highly effective penal policies to transform the environment and culture of in participating U.S. correctional facilities. Support from the Vital Projects Fund will serve as a catalyst for change so that a health-first approach to corrections, rooted in humanity and dignity, defines the experiences of those living and working in our jails and prisons.
