Ritu Bansal, MD

HS Clinical Professor

Medicine Home, Hospital Medicine UCSF Health

I have been part of the Bay Area medical community for over 20 years. Shortly after completing my medical school in India I moved to Menlo Park, CA. I now live in San Carlos with my partner and 2 daughters. When I am not working, you will find me catching up on house chores and spending time with my rabbit Athena. I also volunteer with youth development organizations as a camping mom for Girl Scouts, Project leader for 4H, and camping assistant for Sierra Club.
My main duties at UCSF include admitting and rounding on hospitalized patients either, on direct care or resident teams at Parnassus and St Mary's medical center.
I also attend on the procedure service at Parnassus.
My main administrative role is POCUS credentialing for Parnassus faculty.
I enjoy all things POCUS, Procedures and medical education.
