Mia Williams, MD, MS is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at UCSF, practicing at the General Internal Medicine Practice at Divisadero Street. Her clinical interests include patient-centered medicine, chronic disease management, quality of life, preventive care, and caring for LatinX patients.
She is involved in undergraduate and graduate medical education and her teaching efforts include precepting medical students and resident trainees in internal medicine continuity clinic. Her interests include mentorship and sponsorship, quality improvement relating to the care of patients with limited English proficiency, and anti-oppressive curriculum.
Dr. Williams is a graduate of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University where she also completed her Masters in Clinical Research. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UCSF as part of the UC-Primary Care Program.
