Maxime Kinet, MD, PhD

Assistant Professor

Dr. Maxime Kinet is a rheumatologist who cares for patients with conditions affecting the muscles, bones and joints. In research, he studies how body tissues can modify and be modified by inflammation and immune responses.

A native French speaker, Kinet earned his doctorate in developmental biology and programmed cell death at the Rockefeller University and his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in rheumatology at UCSF.
