Dr. Rorvig also sees patients for geriatrics consultation. She is the director of the geriatrics curriculum for the UCSF Family & Community Medicine Residency.

Dr. Rorvig's research focuses on evaluating health care quality in the California Correctional Health Care Services system. She serves as the director of health education of Amend at UCSF, an institute focused on changing correctional culture to improve the health of those who live and work in U.S. jails and prisons.
