Kip Mihara appointed chief of the Division of Emergency Medicine at SFVAHCS

Kip Mihara, MD, is a professor of medicine and chief of emergency medicine at the SFVAHCS, where he teaches resident physicians in the emergency department, urgent care, and outpatient settings. He is a deputy editor for the Journal of General Internal Medicine (JGIM) and helped develop the journal’s Clinical Images section. His academic interests include medical education, clinical images, and acute care medicine.
