Dementia Care Aware, led by Drs. Anna Chodos and Josette Rivera, was mentioned by Governor Gavin Newsom and the First Partner Jennifer Seibel Newsom on Tuesday 9/20 in his address to the California for All Ages and Abilities Day of Action! This event, organized by the Master Plan on Aging, discussed statewide initiatives on aging, disability, and equity. Dementia Care Aware was honored to receive this recognition and endorsement as the first Californian initiative to provide support in ensuring dementia care is equitable and culturally responsive.  See video recording here.
