a) Appraise the risk of postoperative adverse outcomes of untreated preoperative anemia.

b) Appraise the evidence that supports restrictive transfusional approach and current protocols for anemia evaluation and pharmacological optimization.

c) Discuss the current indications for fresh frozen plasma and platelets transfusion
