From Microplastics to Macro-Impacts: The Plastic Life Cycle and Its Effects on Human Health
Plastics are everywhere in daily life — and increasingly, in our bodies. This Grand Rounds will review the health impacts of microplastics and plastic-associated chemicals and highlight emerging evidence linking exposures to adverse outcomes. Clinicians will learn to recognize and mitigate the risks of plastics across the human life span.
