Updates in Diabetes Mellitus Management with Sarah Kim

Join us in room N-217 (Nursing Building) for Department of Medicine Grand Rounds. Lunch will be provided.

The novel diabetes drugs are as exciting as they are confusing. At our next Medicine Grand Rounds, Sarah Kim will demystify the latest medications for diabetes and explore the current and future state of continuous glucose monitoring devices. This talk will be a comprehensive and clinically relevant update on the management of patients with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. 

Speaker

Sarah KimSarah Kim, MD is professor of Medicine and clinician-educator in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at UCSF Health and ZSFG. Board certified in adult endocrinology as well as general pediatrics, her clinical work has focused on adult diabetes and adult and pediatric obesity. Sarah directs the UCSF Diabetes Teaching Center, where she focuses on diabetes educational programs and serves as a co-investigator on diabetes research studies.

Congratulations Dr. Leah Witt for being awarded a $500 COVID-19 Relief Fund from the UCSF Academic Senate. The COVID Relief Fund is intended to give faculty members some relief from the challenges resulting from COVID.
