Anna Chodos, MD, MPH, Christine Ritchie, MD, MSPH, and Christine Cassel, MD published an article, "Can the Safety Net be Age-Friendly?" in JGIM. It describes the need for an age-friendly approach in safety net health care systems in order to meet the health and quality of life goals of the older adults they serve and who may have social determinants of health that increase the prevalence of geriatrics conditions.
