Kelly Wentworth has been selected as a recipient of the 2021 Rising Star Awards from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
The American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR)’s mission is to promote excellence in bone, mineral and musculoskeletal research, foster integration of clinical and basic science, and facilitate the translation of that science to health care and clinical practice. The ASBMR Rising Star Awards provide funding to our most promising young scientists and physician-scientists in the bone field who have already been recognized by NIH “K awards” and other similar international professional development programs. The award provides you with $50,000 USD in additional funding to the awardees to successfully implement your program, stay in the field, and transition to independent investigators.
