It is with great enthusiasm that we want to announce that Teresa Cheng MD has agreed to become the official Downtown Clinic Education Director for DGIM. Teresa took this job over during the last academic year and has done an incredible job building the academic teaching mission of this busy underserved clinic. Since her outstanding work is done in a CBOC it is often unrecognized, but our UCSF medicine residents are thriving due to her hard work, support and attention to detail.
