Dr. Lingsheng Li received funding for UCSF Getting Back Together Event
GeriPal Fellow Lingsheng Li, MD (twitter handle @lingshengli) received $300 from UCSF Getting Back Together Fund for a "Cooks & Books" club to bring together clinical & research fellows in Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. The fund will be used towards purchasing cookbooks featuring different regional cuisines & will be shared among the fellows in Division of Geriatrics and Division of Palliative Medicine.
Each month, interested participants will get to pick a recipe to try/cook/experiment & to be shared with others. The hope is to encourage each other to eat & live well, to bring back shared meals & story-telling, & to create a new & lasting tradition for Geri, GeriPal, &Pal Care fellowship classes.
