Common Neurologic Problems, Changing Decisions: Updates for Internal Medicine

Neurologic concerns are common in internal medicine and often trigger uncertainty and extensive diagnostic workups. This Grand Rounds highlights neurologic conditions commonly encountered by internal medicine physicians in the inpatient and outpatient settings, featuring updated evidence and management strategies to reduce unnecessary testing and facilitate optimized treatment.

 

Speaker:
Mark Terrelonge, MD, MPH, is an associate professor of neurology at UCSF Health and associate program director of the UCSF Neurology Residency. His clinical work focuses on disorders of the nerve, muscle, neuromuscular junction, and spine, with a particular interest in caring for patients from rural and underserved communities across California.
