Geri Spotlight: Izabel Pisikyan and Regina Zamboukos

The Geriatrics Spotlight initiative fosters community building within the Division, especially during this age of hybrid/remote work where it can be challenging to find ways to interact with colleagues outside of your immediate teams. This is a way for Division members to learn more about all the wonderful work we’re doing!

This week, we get to know our division staff, Izabel Pisikyan and Regina Zamboukos.

John Newman, MD, PhD contributed to an article in Aging Medicine about ethical perspectives on advances in geroscience. The work was a collaboration between geriatricians, researchers, ethicists, and philosophers who met at a workshop sponsored by the Chinese University Hong Kong’s Centre for Bioethics and Jockey Club Institute of Aging to explore key ethical challenges around the aging population and the development of treatments and technologies that might ameliorate effects of aging.
