Louise Aronson, MD, MFA will speak at UCSF Wellness Webinar entitled "Caregiving for Older Relatives & Friends" on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 12:00 - 1:00 PM PDT. Dr. Aronson, a UCSF geriatrician, and author of the New York Times bestseller, Elderhood, will discuss practical tips for caring for older family members or friends. The session will also include strategies for caring for yourself so you can do this important work and lots of time for your questions.
Caregiving is hard work. For some it’s a source of stress and frustration. For many, it provides a sense of purpose, usefulness, and joy. For most, the challenges come in many forms: financial, medical, occupational, emotional, and physical.
