Ellen Ingebritsen

Welcome Ellen Ingebritsen, PREPARE Operations Manager, to the Geriatrics Division!

Please join us in welcoming Ellen Ingebritsen, PREPARE Operations Manager, to the Geriatrics Division!

Ellen started this morning and will be working closely with Dr. Rebecca Sudore and her team on PREPARE and its related projects. Ellen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Amherst College. She also completed Council on International Educational Exchange Program at the University of Cape Town. Before joining our team, Ellen worked on various social impact issues throughout her career. In her most recent role at Sherry Consulting, she excelled as a Research Associate.  Her role involved providing well-informed advice to families and stakeholders. She prepared proposals and reporting guidance as well as created a pitch deck and redesigned their company’s website. Prior to this role, Ellen supported reproductive health and rights at the David and Lucille Packard Foundation.  As a consultant, she served as a thought partner to senior staff, oversaw a $4.7 million operating budget, completed research assignments to support strategic grantmaking and helped streamlined effective communications to staff and key stakeholders.

Ellen is particularly interested in health equity. She believes that the Operations Manager role aligns with her aspiration and will also leverage her skillset, merging her research and operations abilities while also building connections across teams and with partners. Ellen learned from her personal and professional experience that being able to make informed choices about one’s health care is a precious right and vital component of quality health care.

In her new role as PREPARE Operations Manager, Ellen will work closely with Dr. Rebecca Sudore to support PREPARE program operations, milestones, and deliverables. She will also be the licensing liaison and will help identify philanthropic funding opportunities for the program. Ellen brings strong technical, organizational and communication skills and has a ton of experience in working with diverse teams.  Ellen can be reached at [email protected] if you want to connect with her.

We’re thrilled that Ellen has joined our team!  😊
