As a program of 24 residents that intersects with the larger internal medicine residency, we are able to create a tight-knit community that supports and inspires each other.

It’s a small family feel within the backing of a larger residency program; all of our co-residents and faculty are rooted in a similar moral valence; and the program is connected with so many people doing mission driven work!

Our longitudinal scholarly curriculum provides a space and time for residents to explore academic interests and scholarly work. The residency supports all residents financially to attend and present at a national conference.

We define scholarly work broadly and encourage our residents to pursue what excites them most.  Our residents have participated in academic  work that includes research projects, qualitative interviews, perspective pieces, op-eds, creating a clinical curriculum, and evaluating quality improvement projects.
