Randy Curtis, MD, MPH- Professor of Medicine at University of Washington, Director of the University of Washington Cambia Palliative Care Center of Excellence, and internationally renowned researcher and leader in our field has graciously agreed to give a special DPM Grand Rounds titled: “Promoting Serious Illness Communication Across a Healthcare System: Using Research, Education, and Mentoring to Improve Care.”
Dr. Curtis will share with us his groundbreaking work to promote communication about serious illness and the key and tightly linked role of research, education and mentorship to achieving a lasting impact.
