Dr. Laura Mosqueda "Forensic Markers of Abuse and Neglect of Older Adults" Talk

Dr. Laura Mosqueda, Dean of the Keck School of Medicine at USC and Director of the National Center on Elder Abuse, will be teaching us about forensic markers of abuse and neglect of older adults on July 12th, 10-11:30am at Room HD-160 at the Helen Diller Family Cancer Research Building (1450 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94158). Live streaming will be available. The intended audience is doctors, nurses, adult protective services workers, criminal justice professionals, and others who work in community and health care settings with adults. After Dr. Mosqueda's lecture, joining her on the stage for interactive conversation and Q&A, will be Dr. Ellen Moffatt of the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office, who will be adding her insights about the opioid epidemic and older adults. The San Francisco District Attorney's Office and the Optimizing Aging Collaborative at UCSF are co-sponsoring this event.
