The Office of Human Research Protection (OHRP) has assigned a new Federalwide Assurance Number to UCSF for the protection of human subjects. This new number replaces the Multiple Project Assurance Number M-1169 previously utilized at UCSF.

Effective immediately, all grant, contract or subcontract proposals submitted from UCSF should list the new Federalwide Assurance Number as follows: FWA 00000068
