Research Interests:
Sexually transmitted diseases, in particular syphilis epidemiology and medical management, lymphogranuloma venereum, and STDs in gay and other men who have sex with men; Prevention of HIV transmission in HIV-infected persons. Former public health/affairs work included: Public Policy Director, Health Initiatives for Youth, San Francisco, CA; Director of Clinical Research, National Hemophilia Foundation, New York, NY; founding staff of National AIDS Network, Washington, DC.
