Patrick Gamp, M.D. is a Clinical Instructor within the Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine. He received his BS in biology at University of San Francisco, MD at Drexel University College of Medicine, and completed his residency in General Internal Medicine Residency Program at University of California at Davis Medical Center.
Dr. Gamp was a research assistant at UCSF Department of Surgery, where he developed a technique used for isolation and cell culture of the guinea pig myenteric neurons, and performs experiments in cell and tissue histochemistry, tissue culture, and confocal microscopy. He is currently attending on the BMT/CRI Cardiology Hospitalist Service where he will be responsible for inpatient services and teaching nurses, students, and resident physicians.
