Lauren "Liz" Goldman, M.D., received her MD from Yale School of Medicine in 2000. She was a resident under the Categorical Internal Medicine Residency Program at UCSF from 2001-03; thereafter, she was a Clinical Instructor for one year.
Liz demonstrates great potential as an investigator. In 2005, she was a principal author and co-investigator on California Program on Access to Care, a project that aimed to protect vulnerable patients from unintended consequences of public reporting of hospital quality and hospital pay-for-performance. In 2005, she was also a principal author and co-investigator on an R03 grant, entitled “How Public Reporting and Pay-for-Performance Policies Impact Safety Net Hospitals.” For both projects, Dr. Adams Dudley was the Principal Investigator.
