Lindsay Mazotti, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCSF and a member of the Hospital Medicine Group since 2007. She graduated from Stanford University and completed both medical school and her residency in Internal Medicine, Primary Care here at UCSF. In addition to her role as ward attending, Dr. Mazotti also attends on the medical consultation service and serves as a hospitalist on the Comanagement with Neurosurgery service. She also maintains a primary care practice at Mt. Zion General Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Mazotti also works as a Clinician-Educator, teaching within the medical school and residency program. She completed the Resident Teaching Fellowship during her residency and was recently awarded a Teaching Excellence Award from UCSF's Class of 2007. Her most recent research interests include the effects of duty hour restriction on resident teaching and assessment of a pilot longitudinal third year clerkship at Parnassus, PISCES. Her other clinical interests include women's health, obstetric medicine and eating disorders.
