The Division of Medical Genetics is part of the joint UCSF/Stanford Program that offers residencies in Clinical Genetics and leads to eligibility to sit for the examination offered by the American Board of Medical Genetics for certification in Clinical Genetics. Postdoctoral training in Human Genetics Research is available under the auspices of the UCSF Institute for Human Genetics. Predoctoral Training leading to the Ph.D. Is provided through the umbrella Graduate Training Program within the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Group.
