Patterns are best seen in leads V4-V5.

Common: Tall, peaked, narrow-based, symmetric T waves.

The most common pattern: R/S ratio < 1 in V4, with broad, prominent S waves and symmetric, not necessarily peaked, T waves.

An "M" shaped QRS-ST-T morphology in lead V4-5.
