The Controller's job is to oversee internal controls and risk management for all 38 divisions across all sites of Medicine. This means that divisions should expect to receive assistance with the following:

• Articulating operational goals and assessing operational risks
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate financial and compliance risks and/or reduce the costs of internal control
• Managing external reviews, audits, and/or investigations
• Training and integration of best practices
• Interpreting polices and procedures
