The Department of Medicine has created an Ambulatory Care Executive Committee to better coordinate patient care at our Parnassus, Mt. Zion and Mission Bay medical sites. As one of the leading Department's of Medicine in the country we continually look for ways to improve the patient experience at UCSF. .

The committee includes Division Chiefs (David Gardner; Jeffrey Olgin; Dean Sheppard), Practice Chiefs (Andrew Gross; Helen Kao; Andrew Ko; Lowell Lo; Dan Null; Brian Schwartz; Jonathan Terdiman), Division Administrator (Emily Leang), Administrative Director (Kris Twining), Practice Manager (Brenda Mar), Director of Clinical Operations and Revenue Management (Miriam Gonzalez-White) and San Francisco General Hospital (Alice Chen).

This Committee is being co-chaired by Ralph Gonzales, Associate Chair for Ambulatory Care and Clinical Innovation, Niraj Seghal, Associate Chair for Quality and Safety and Michael Chen, Chief Financial Officer, Department of Medicine. The committee is expected to meet three times per year and is planning a dedicated ambulatory care retreat early in 2012.
