The CADC Measurement Core works to identify, develop, and promote instrumentation and methodology that helps to advance our understanding of health and health related concepts among diverse older populations.
Our research goals include:
- Advancing the development of conceptual frameworks and measures of determinants of health and health care disparities in diverse groups of older adults.
- Increasing the availability of self-report measures for which there is evidence of conceptual and psychometric equivalence for use in health disparities and minority aging research.
- Advancing the development of methods for conducting health and healthcare disparities research.
- Providing resources to help investigators locate measures of health and its determinants and quality of care.
