The mission of the Department of Medicine's Revenue Management and Compliance Office is to provide the highest quality administrative support services to faculty and clinical providers to optimize professional fee revenues and effectively manage the risk associated with billing for clinical services.

The goal of the Revenue Management Unit is to achieve best practice performance in revenue cycle operations. This is accomplished through collaboration and teamwork with DOM clinical practices, medical center units, and the MGBS and McKesson business offices. This office utilizes key data metrics to drive innovation and superior revenue cycle performance to meet the goals and objectives of the Department of Medicine.

The Clinical Compliance Unit is responsible for implementing the DOM Clinical Compliance Plan. Through the use of professional coding services, education and quality assurance initiatives our goal is to provide all DOM clinical providers with the information and support structure needed to comply with Federal, State and University requirements for billing professional services.
